HCL’s platform doesn’t just serve as a commerce site; it also assists businesses in discovering selling techniques and establishes communication.
HCL collaboration with Google cloud dates back to 2019 when they announced the launch of HCL’s Google Cloud Business Unit; to accelerate enterprise cloud adoption worldwide. The latest collaboration, the expansion of their partnership, aims to bring HCLs software offerings with HCL Commerce, to Google Cloud.
This latest announcement from HCL and Google Cloud expands on a deep partnership between the two companies to help organizations digitally transform.
Henceforth, Google cloud will be the endorsed cloud platform for HCL. They also plan to leverage Anthos to enable multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud deployments of HCL Commerce.
The collaboration is for merging the security offered by Google cloud as well as the platform from HCL. This is good news for businesses as they will be able to tap into the services simultaneously offered by both companies. Business owners will help leverage the features of the Google cloud, which include artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc.
HCL management is full of optimism as they commence this collaboration.
The Corporate Vice President and Head of HCL software, Darren Oberst, had this to say; “the collaboration between Google Cloud and HCL Commerce is helping customers rapidly execute their digital transformation strategy that is in the new normal. We can now deliver a proven, comprehensive commerce solution across all industries; with the support of our global implementation partner ecosystem, handling the challenges of today and in the future.”
Kalyan Kumar, CTO, and Corporate Vice President, HCL Technologies, also added; “the HCL Google Cloud Business Unit enabling product collaboration across HCL Software and Google Cloud. The launch of HCL Commerce on Google Cloud is the first among a number of planned joint offerings built around application modernization, data center, and database value unlock.”
